Sydney and Regional NSW
ParaQuad's client base is expanding rapidly and we are looking for part time and casual personal carers to join our 250 strong database covering clients all over Sydney and regional NSW. We have a wide range of clients of all ages.
As a personal carer you will be working in the homes of people with a disability or special needs, assisting them with the day-to-day tasks of daily living. Personal carers are required to provide assistance with activities such as assisting clients to get out of bed, with showering, bowel care, grooming, cooking, their domestic routine and shopping.
Essential criteria
- Understanding of what is involved in providing personal care
- Willingness to be trained in all aspects of care provision
- Ability to follow written and verbal procedures describing required care
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently
- Ability to work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Must have a mobile phone, own comprehensively insured vehicle and a valid Australian Drivers Licence
Desirable criteria
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Certificate Level III or IV in Disability or Aged Care and/or willingness to work towards same
