Wheels for a Day is an educational and light hearted opportunity to highlight the challenges that face wheelchair users, especially in the workplace and with public transport,’ says Wendy Potter, Chairman, ParaQuad NSW.
In its sixth year, Wheels for a Day is ParaQuad's annual event for Spinal Injuries Awareness Week (16-21 November 2012). ‘People take for granted simple tasks such as boarding a bus and opening a door, but for those of us in wheelchairs straightforward tasks can become quite onerous,’ continues Wendy.
ParaQuad encourage you to come along and join in the events held on the day that highlights accessbility issues.
